Is asking for “The Readers Digest” version of a long story still a pertinent reference?

Regardless, my thoughts on politics and world affairs boils down to:

We have the option of expressing our rage at injustice or finding small ways, words and seemingly insignificant / invisible actions to help heal the problem.

The two rarely go together.

We may never fully know the results.
