The app for independent voices

In the first grade our class was broken up into small reading groups.

My brother had recently gotten a model car known as the ZZR.

Our groups were asked to come up with names and vote on them.

I pitched the ZZR’s. It was the winning choice.

I remember a slight internal recognition and satisfaction at having effectively (although I didn’t comprehend the word effectively at the time) made something happen.
