The main thing that my self-publishing “journey” has brought me, is the freedom and joy of knowing that whatever happens with my next novel, it will be published in a way I want. It’s just a case of who/how/where—and choosing the best strategy and assembling the best team. It flips the process: author first. Self-publishing is no longer a back up option, it’s a really great choice to put into the mix.
