Lovable made their platform free today for International Women’s Day. Thousands of women are building their first apps and sharing them with genuine pride. As they should.

And yet here I am, reverse-engineering the growth loop instead of celebrating. Free access on the day with maximum emotional sharing potential. Every excited post doing double duty as a testimonial. Every started project becoming a reason to stay and eventually pay.

I don’t think anyone is being tricked. The excitement is real. But my brain just… does this. It sees the system before it sees the moment. People are having fun and I’m over here mapping incentive structures like some kind of party-ruining systems thinker.

Sometimes I wonder if that’s a superpower or just a really lonely way to experience the internet.
