So this is what a structural edit looks like!!

Having met my editor today, nearly 8000 words have been removed from my forthcoming book Breaking Waves 😱😱 all of which I agree with although it is a big old chunk. Lots of reworking to come next.. but not tonight.

It really is an extraordinary process, yet I think I can already see how much better this input is making my book.

I’ll be writing all about the editing process along with the key lessons I’ve learned from my publisher in The Book Deal Diaries here on Lemon Soul later in the week.

8000 words tho… 😳
