Challenge: come up with a song as hot as the title track of this EP. Go ahead. Tough? Yeah. There is something about the lyric, the claustrophibic mix, the bleat of the sax, the way Deborah sings with detachment on the verses and intensity on the chorus that goes deep. Oh, and the pulse of the rhythm section. It was the theme to my noo wave radio station’s weekly music video countdown show and it always whet the appetite. It still does. So much so it bugs me this is an EP. I want a whole album of songs this visceral to dance to. So all i can do is play the title track over and over.
