One of the earliest albums i remember being passed along to me was Something Special, a compilation of Tommy James and the Shondell hits and songs. So i have a lifelong soft spot for them such that i grabbed this dollar bin album. It is in perfect shape and has several pop classics along with the requisite takes on contemporaneous or somewhat recent hits. I think at least four of the tracks here made it to the hits album, which is is a good indicator for whether you need it. Or at least it was for me.
