I had an MRI this afternoon (a precaution for some vision issues and ocular migraines I’ve been having), and wow science and technology is really something. Truly modern medical marvels. It not literally, but figuratively, blew my mind.

The hospitality and care was such a surprising delight too. The clothes I had to change into and the blanket they wrapped around me all came fresh out of a warmer. Then upon leaving, I was given snacks and water. And like good snacks.

But because I live the American Dream, I simply cannot wait to receive my bill after this process is through my high deductible insurance.
