Shell released its 2025 LNG Outlook today. This edition increases the 2040 global demand forecast to 700 million tonnes per annum. Last year's Outlook pegged it below 700 mtpa.

Odd timing, as Chinese LNG demand growth is decelerating and EU LNG demand is in sharply downward trajectory.
