I got into journalism because I cared about documenting history the right way but I’ve been feeling burnt tf out since the pandy. I’ve lost love for creative writing bc I hate the extractive editing process of working with a white man. I mastered in political journalism but im so tired of fighting invisible politics in the community, city hall, and in between the lines of what I write, or don’t. I’m grateful for my career (and recent award!) but I’m kinda over it and struggling to find motivation to create content at all. Just venting 🙃
