On June 1, 1987 Rabbi Friedman issued a progress report on the new ‘Wexner Institute for Policy and Management.’
The updated timeline included multiple meetings between Les Wexner, Rabbi Friedman and David Kimche.
On May 21, 1987 David Kimche was served with his federal Iran Contra subpoena during his Wexner meeting. Kimche ultimately avoided the subpoena and returned to Israel.
The committee for the new Wexner institute included Shimon Peres, Yitzhak Rabin, Kimche, Wexner, and multiple other Israeli officials.
The report also set up a compensation schedule for David Kimche to be paid by the Wexner Heritage Foundation.
