The Read Christie 2026 list has dropped and for the first time I’m excited to participate instead of watching from the sidelines!
My goal this year is to buy each book from the new HarperCollins reprint covers in hardback that I’ve been eyeing enviously! Blackwells (or Waterstones) here I come!
Anyone else follow the Read Christie that happens each year, hosted by Agatha Christie, Ltd.?
I’ve been signed up to their newsletter since it started back in September 2022 and their very first official Read Christie in 2023. I’m glad to be joining in this year!
First up, The Body in the Library. A Miss Marple Mystery. And just my luck, this book happens to have been acted by BOTH Joan Hickson (3-Parts, 1984) and Geraldine McEwan (90min, 2005) so, you know what that means! I’ll read the book first then watch the two versions and give my review afterwards, of course!
And here are the 3 covers I have to choose from. None of which I own because I’ve been busy collecting Hercule Poirot cases. Which version do you like best?
