As I scroll on Substack I’ve noticed people say “I write fiction” in the comments of someone saying they are looking for fiction, but upon inspection they write it but they don’t share it on their Substack.

Does that count?

I mean, I’m writing fiction on my Substack to eventually publish off Substack. But I would think when someone is asking to find fiction writers here, it means they’re looking to find our fiction actually on our Substack. I could be wrong.

I just know, for me, I feel a bit disappointed when I look through the comments of Notes asking for fiction writers and the majority of the replies are from people who don’t share their fiction on Substack. Or if they do it’s like once every 4-6 months and the rest are all non-fiction.

Not sure why I’m bringing this up other than to point out what I’ve been noticing around here lately.
