Substack should really fix that non-page-spanning images are rendered at noticeably lower qualities in emails. If it spans the page, it renders high quality. Same image, but made smaller in the web editor? Renders low quality. This didn’t use to always be the case, it changed about 2-3 years ago. Here’s an example: exact same image, just how large it is in the text editor. It means everything has to be huge and so makes everything look stupid.
