World Water Day is a day of global action putting a spotlight on every person’s human right to safe drinking water.
Even here in the United States, more than 2 million people from the Navajo Nation to Appalachia to the Texas colonias, live without running water in their homes.
Life without water means carefully rationing every drop they are able to haul or collect. It means cooking, cleaning, and showering without a working tap—an unimaginable scenario for most people in the U.S. TBR just made a donation to DigDeep, an organization that works to ensure that every American has equitable access to water and sanitation forever.
