Starting the long weekend happy and relaxed. A visit with my parents where I made us all a simple lunch of roast chicken and green salad washed down with cold rosé. My mum was close on my heels in the kitchen, letting me know how to break down a chicken (though I’ve done it hundreds of times) and reminding me to turn off the oven. So maybe not totally relaxed.
