Once, while flying between Paris and Barcelona, I came across an in-flight magazine about Catalonia. One of the recipes mentioned in the description of the local cuisine surprised me so much that I still remember it many years later: rabbit and squid paella. I took a photo of the recipe, but I never dared to cook it. However, that’s when my interest in surf and turf combinations began.
