Q: What “first” in dating still feels a little intimidating you?

A: There is a need for certainty, to know instead of find out. This can make the very first in-person date very intimidating. What would otherwise be the opening lines of a new chapter becomes an opportunity to measure up, or fail to live up to, one’s own reputation or their fantasy of the other.
