Charlie Kirk often relied on a debate tactic called the Gish Gallop (named after creationist debater Duane Gish). It’s essentially a firehose of misinformation — rapid-fire claims and distortions delivered faster than an opponent can possibly rebut. Kirk was skilled at using this style to overwhelm. The Cambridge debaters, however, came prepared and were able to fact-check him in real time — a response that takes not only preparation but real mental agility.
