I too have had an American Dream life! In 1965, Head Start at age 4, public school kindergarten-5. Lost my dad in 1970, main source of income. Public school showed My mom about the importance of dental health which encouraged my mom to take me to the dentist. I finished with a Master’s. Taught for 30 years. Retired, and enjoying life. Paying taxes so now I am a benefit to the Country. People need to be invested in so that they too can help the country be a better country.
