🗃️ In an interview with C-SPAN’s Brian Lamb in 2010, President Barack Obama said he had not made significant changes to the Oval Office due to “very difficult economic times.”

He also noted that he had hung a Norman Rockwell painting depicting workers cleaning the torch of the Statue of Liberty, saying it served as a reminder that, “We constantly have to renew the flames of our democracy.”
