I might be old/naïve/missing something but who the hell is actually ‘looking for a short-term relationship’?

Like, who is actively going yes, I would like a relationship for the next 4-6 months but definitely don’t want it to progress beyond that?

Casual is totally valid, hook ups are great if that’s what you’re up for, but they are not a relationship.

A relationship builds over time, and by its very nature is grounded in at least the hope that it will continue.

Right?

Or am I the idiot here?
