They compete amongst one another as to who is in the highest percentile. But it doesn’t actually help/support the artists beyond that.

ETA relatedly, I’ve been thinking about this Tumblr poll since I saw it. Is the high number of people who don’t attend shows due to streamers not being concert-goers in general, or because of lack of accessibility and prohibitive costs?
