MoonShadow
MoonShadow is my fantasy and Science Fiction world that’s been in development for about a year.
I’ve always wanted to do a really good fantasy world, because, (Unpopular Opinion Here) I’ve never found the fantasy worlds that everyone loves so much to be much better than fairy tales for kids' learning to read.
It’s original. No borrowed concepts. No genre tropes or stereotypes. No elves, trolls, or dragons. If it has been the focal point elsewhere, I’m not using it.
In MoonShadow, the populace has gone through a slow process of free and mandatory education from 5yo to 25yo. This leads to a population that can take care of their any need, quite easily.
Wars are history. Crime is so rare that the largest cities only have a Police force of a dozen or so officers. By having the kids cast these spells that make survival a distant worry, society has been living at a peak.
Now, 1000 years from its inception, when new threats arise, there’s a consistent-fresh-air-only-smell of possibilities, high aspirations, collaboration, and new magic and technologies breaking previously thought limits, technology is getting more and more powerful and broader under an understanding that grows daily.
Now, we are looking at a unique setting. Three major cities, each unique and intriguing to simply walk through. Sn appropriate population size that means resources are never over extended. And a populace capable of amazing feats of magic.
Every single aspect is created and detailed by Dave, and myself, until it gleams with the polish of excitement. If it's an adventure, it can happen here. it's incredibly exciting.

I think people need to see this setting through all kinds of stories and art.
