As culture wars intensify, identity politics is reshaping the teaching and practice of psychotherapy — especially in the fraught terrain of culture and diversity. Many clinicians now find themselves feeling alienated, distrustful, or demoralized.

Building on FAIR Advisor Jon Haidt’s Moral Foundations Theory, this course presents a structural model for clinical work that restores moral depth without moralism. It brings clarity to the concepts and conflicts shaping both clinical practice and public life, equipping clinicians to engage patients, colleagues, and themselves more thoughtfully in the face of complex and controversial issues.
