We will discuss the questions of whether such laws are constitutional, as well as the Dept of Justice’s request for the Court to grant transgender status a quasi-suspect classification for the purpose of judicial review. The Court’s decision will have sweeping implications not just for medical treatment for minors, but also for all laws and policies concerning biological sex and “gender identity”.

Featured panelists include Solicitor General of Alabama Edmund LaCour; US Constitutional rights, civil rights, and international human rights lawyer Mitra Forouhar; and Manhattan Institute Director of Constitutional Studies Ilya Shapiro. All have submitted amicus briefs in this case.
