Driving home from work, listening to The ONE Thing on Audible. The narrator says "if you chase two rabbits, you will not catch either one."
I had to sit with that for a second.
I had side projects everywhere. A little tool here, an experiment there, ideas scattered across repos I hadn't opened in weeks. Each one felt like progress. None of them were.
So I killed them all. 100% Fly Labs. One project. One focus. Everything else can wait.
Gary Keller asks a simple question: what's the ONE thing that makes everything else unnecessary? I kept adding things instead of cutting them. More projects, more courses, more methods. It felt productive. It was just motion.
The people who actually build something pick one thing and go deep. The rest just stay busy.
