The hardest command for me to embrace

is to love your enemy.

I read where Jesus says to do it,

and I have tried harder and harder,

only to continually fail.

But it’s just the second great commandment.

The first is to love the Lord your God with all your heart, soul and mind.

When I do the first, the second gets a lot easier.
