What we see today are two different business models being classified under the same "luxury" umbrella. On one side, traditional luxury that uses scarcity as a strategy (demand control), based on high-quality craftsmanship, exceptional materials, and time dedicated to creation. On the other, we have brands that maintain an aura of exclusivity and high prices, but adopt production and distribution practices just like those of fast fashion.
