It’s generally pretty easy for athletes to talk about their running when they’re on top of the world, but harder when they’re going through something tough. Maia Ramsden has made good progress post-surgery, but I really appreciate her talking to me in a less on top of the world moment. And I always enjoy when someone voluntarily opts to be a Boston-based professional runner, because it’s not always easy, thanks to our weather.
