As fire burns inside a container, hot gases expand and create pressure inside. If we consider this fire to be our longing - our creative flame - and the container, our soulbodies, then pressure is inherent to creativity, expanding within us, needing to burst out into the world like all the flowers now blooming.
So there is an internal pressure. The pressure of longing. Which is different than the pressure of time or fame or appearances or all the other external pressures we often absorb.
This also makes me think about friction, which is inherent to building that fire. Our bodies contain the raw ingredients, and there is a sense of pressure to refine them within ourselves, through our experiences and our awareness, and to pour them into something. For deep creativity to emerge, we need edges to rub up against, containers we choose to flow into.
