I’m going to say something that shouldn’t be controversial but will be. If you are a Christian, you can support border control and immigration being legal vs illegal. You CANNOT celebrate deportations and get off on the cruelty, and be a real Christ follower. Period

I'll add my two cents now. I got what I needed, I've never heard Tim Walz, speak, and he didn't disappoint. He looks like the kind of guy you'd see in the mall from late November til Xmas Eve, with the long white hair and curly beard. He was polite, gentlemanly, kind, and honest. His closing remarks were his best. He did attempt to answer the questions.
JD didn't disappoint either, he came across as the snake oil salesman he is. He lied and lied, then he doubled down and lied some more. What annoyed me most was he talked as though Kamala had been President these past 3 + years - even called it the Harris Biden administration. I think Tim should have taken umbrage at that.
What's more not even Joe Biden, who has been a damned good President can write laws - that is the sole prerogative of the Congressional Branch. Furthermore the writing of Executive Orders is the exclusive privilege of the President - not extended to the Vice President.
I fervently wish Americans would read their own Constitution. It is very short, less than 30 pages has been translated from 18th Century English to modern English and while it's not an illustrated comic book it is still relatively easy to understand.
When Alito, Kavanaugh, Roberts, and Thomas say they are determining what the Framer's really meant - they are flat out lying (just like trump and vance) They don't like what is written so they choose to see what the want it to say. Just because they sit on the highest Court in the land doesn't mean they don't lie.
