Food hooligans, exciting news!
Sicilian chef Emilia Strazzanti and me are organizing another Sicily cooking retreat in May!
The English version of my cookbook Italopop (Italopunk) will be out this Spring in the U.S., so what better excuse to experience the cookbook in real life?
We will stay in a beautiful Masseria in the South East of Sicily, we'll taste the freshest ricotta, make pasta and arancini, we'll alternate local wine drinking with al fresco dinners and we'll visit (hot!) chefs like Joseph Micieli. You don't need to be a professional cook, you do need to enjoy eating though!
Here in short what to expect:
š To be taken care of from arrival to departure from and to Catania airport.
š three meals a day included, such as restaurant meals, tasting of local produce, home cooked food and other delicious surprises
š including all transfers to excursions
š©š½āš³ intimate chefs training by Emilia and myself, teaching you about Sicilian traditions and how to become a better cook. We'll teach you some essential Sicilian swear words too.
š§ Your passport into the real Sicily, diving into the food culture through the land, the food and the wine, all while meeting and supporting local Sicilians
