For some reason, I missed Vol 1. (Probably operator error, says the operator.) But this is so welcome: a discussion of new books, three of which I hadn’t heard of, all of which are interesting. There is a robust ecosystem built around the act and aspiration of writing and a resilient ecosystem around publishing. But that place between publication and canonization, the place of literary discussions and valences, is pretty unpopulated. It just became a little less so.
