As I work on editing my My Jesus devotional book, I come across this one:

My Jesus reveals to me that all the good in me is His spirit in me, that He alone is the reason I am redeemed, and that there is no place for pride at His table of grace.

And I think, “Hey, that’s pretty good.”

What is a book that you think aspiring journalists should read? I have a few in mind, but I’m looking for more suggestions.

“The View from Somewhere,” by Lewis Raven Wallace, but I also think “A Journalist’s Guide to Public Opinion Polls” by Gawiser and Witt can’t hurt! Also: “The DC Guide to Writing Comics,” is just a great primer on how to structure a story. I’d love to share this list in my gigs newsletter for science journalists when it’s out!
