Today’s Finn’sights

I have pulled data from 3.852 million Substack posts into a database.

I plotted the word count of each post on the X-axis and the comment count on the Y-axis to see the correlation.

Here is an interesting tidbit: the sweet spot for maximizing engagement is 500 to 2000 words.

Some posts are almost 20,000 words long, like a novella or a short story. I have excluded posts with zero length (many in the data).
