This really resonated with me because we just had to move our parents into an assisted living community. Because of that, we were left with the overwhelming task of cleaning out their home filled with years of items representing our lives through the years, much of which will have to be disposed of, sold and/or given away. It became so real to me what you wrote here — treasures in this life fade, wear out and become dispensable. If we don’t understand what you shared, that treasures in heaven are the only indispensable things we have, we will forever be attached to this world! Thank you for this beautiful reminder!
