This was always going to end in violence. The right has been told for years they are up against the wall. The current election is the last chance for them to save democracy. The left is being told that this election will end democracy. The words from the right tend to bear this out.

Gerrymandering has made the primary the election in most cases. The crazies vote more often in the primaries. This has erased the moderate politician. Until we can fix the primaries we can expect more of the same. If Trump wins violence. If Biden wins violence.
