I’d like to note that is also still Passover. The Christian Right would have us believe that Easter is the only holiday we should celebrate. Jews celebrate Passover. Every year Jews are reminded that in every generation, some evil has risen up against us and tried to destroy us, but we were saved. It reminds us that genocide is evil and should not be tolerated. It’s a lesson for Jews, but it applies to every other group, no country’s citizens should be bombed or “ obliterated”. no citizen should be starved, obliterated, or coerced. That goes for Gaza, Israel, Ukraine, Iran, and others.
