Edit and update Sunday, January 26: Thank you so, so, so much to Laura for putting together a fund and thank you so much for everyone who donated. The words “Thank you” can’t begin to express one millionth of what I feel and want to say. I am in pure gratitude mode. The payout just because available Saturday and am waiting on funds to go from there to my account. Once this happens, the stove will be on order! I’ve already chosen one. There is more than enough to get the shower fixed as well. These are two wonderful blessings and I just can’t begin to express as much gratitude as I have. Once the stove is in and installed, I will post a photo. :)

My stove died yesterday. There is no money to replace it. I want to give a shout out to every single politician that agreed to lockdowns, printing money, and destroying our economy. 5 years ago I could have afforded a new stove. Now it’s completely impossible.

There are always ways, I suppose. I have the bricks to make a rocket stove, but this morning it is 4 degrees, not including wind chill. And yes, I have a microwave (which I hate using, but what the hell at this point), but I’ve never met a microwave that can brown sausage or beef nor cook a decent white sauce. Don’t even think about cooking chicken.

I hate the scamdemic and all its destruction. Its reach far extended past the medical aspects and has destroyed lives in so many ways. Besides the deaths of six people I loved, my own financial state is in complete ruins, plus I can’t imagine living without being able to cook or bake. I’m getting ready to find out what that’s like. It was very upsetting: when the shower died, but I was able to join a very, very cheap gym so I could bathe. But there’s no center to join to be able to cook.

Excuse the rant. I’m cold, hungry and irritable. At least the coffee pot still works!
