Liverpool has fallen off a cliff this season. I think it started with Alexander Isak coming to the club. Not to say he is not a top-notch player because he proved that with Newcastle. Liverpool already got Hugo Ekitike during the summer. He was producing for Liverpool from the beginning, but then once Isak came back from injury, it seemed to force Slot to play him. Also, when Isak is in the match, many times he drifts into the left half spaces, which causes tactical issues with either Ekitike or Florian Wirtz.
The issues that Liverpool have had are not all Isak; their midfield is disconnected from their backline. Their defenders are not performing up to par. It seems that Slot may be losing the locker room. I could be completely wrong, but what do you think?
