Japan has announced their roster for the 2026 World Cup. Unfortunately, Mitoma Kaoru was left out of the squad. He picked up a hamstring injury while playing for his club team Brighton & Hove Albion F.C. in the Premier League over this past weekend. It is so brutal when players miss out on the World Cup when they get injuries in the last minute.
