What made you want to write?
For me, it was a book I read as a teenager. There was a german author called Frank Schätzing and he wrote „The Swarm“ (by the way an amazing book in my opinion). After I read that, I thought, I want to write something like that as well. And the night I finished the book I started a first draft for a novel of myself and I created my main protagonist called „Hank“. Many of you know him from a recent piece of mine here on Substack. That was about 20 years ago and Hank never left me, since then I write (on and off to be honest).

What made you want to write?
For me, it was my mom reading books to me when I was a kid. She did voices for all of the characters, and she almost never stumbled over the words. I found out years later that she competed in reading aloud when she was in high school. Little did she know, that skill would pay off in her mid-thirties. :)
