There was no reason for them to cheat outside of the usual voter suppression tactics and gerrymandering. +22 is such a huge obstacle to overcome and it was a 9 point race because of huge turnout and swings in Nashville. The swings in the rural areas were not significant enough. People need to look at the fact that this turnout for an off cycle race between thanksgiving and Christmas had as high a turnout as would be for a mid term election. And a district like this still swung 13 points. Dems should be looking at this and telling voters that when they come out it makes a difference. Telling people R’s are cheating is just going to suppress them from coming out since it’s all rigged anyway.
