David, good job dismantling the so-called right and left battle in America. The real battle is between the traditions and laws of our constitutional republic where the dignity of the individual is the cornerstone, and a progressive outlook that gives all power to experts and politicians to dictate our laws, create "traditions" of the moment, and subsume the individual. The conservative will pour over the ages of human history and development to more clearly understand the meaning of a single word whereas progressives simply make up new words, new realities, new definitions.
