This is some interesting survey data. I am often skeptical of the OECD attempts to bring together different types of surveys from different places and make out as if they are directly comparable.
But that isn’t so much of an issue here.
What was surprised to me is this.
The more expensive "living alone" option for young adults (20-29) is much more common than the cheaper "sharing with others" option in most places.
This makes the story about the cost of housing causing the high "live with parents" option harder to tell I think.
