How do you guys conquer your fear of writing fiction?

I don’t know if other people experience this, but I find it much easier to write creative nonfiction than to write fiction. When it comes to fiction sometimes I find myself paralyzed by fear that it won’t make sense or that it’ll be boring or unenjoyable. Also, it seems that no matter how intricately I plot beforehand I’m still afraid that it won’t pay off. I’m sure the answer is “just push through it” (I’ve typically found that to be the case with most things) but I guess I’m wondering if any of you have creative ways of pushing through.
