SATURDAY MORNING VIBE WRITING
I’ve been more tired in the mornings this past week and I just realized why.
I’ve been on a massive deep dive “sprint” for the past 5 months. In this time, I have written and published 23 articles.
This felt a lot like a long-distance run. In the beginning you’re excited to get started, you have all the energy in the world and in the early stages you think that you can go a lot faster than your planned pace.
Somewhere in the middle of it, you begin to feel your body slowing down, but you don’t quit. You just keep going.
When you can see the finish line, you feel another boost of energy, knowing that you’ll be done soon and that failure is not an option. Your body pumps a little extra stored adrenaline to help you make it there.
In the final lap of the race, you get emotional knowing that all your hard work got you to the finish line.
After crossing it, your body automatically slows down, knowing that the job is complete. This is where I am at the moment.
I used to get out of bed around 4am, but now my body is forcing me to sleep until 5:30am. I’m not fighting it.
I’ll take the extra rest I’m getting now to build up for the next race.
