My natural writing on email/Slack is direct and abrupt. It’s easy to read as terse or unenthusiastic.

So I run important emails through AI to check tone. Not to soften my voice, but to catch the places where I'm accidentally signaling disinterest that isn’t intentional.

Confidence is a tone. Indifference is a tone. Claude is good enough to tell them apart.
