Here in Canada, it was once legal for RCMP to break into indigenous people's homes (without them ever having committed a crime nor violating anyone else) kidnap their children and then forcibly put them into tax payer funded concentration camps (euphemistically called "residential schools"). Forced surgical sterilization of those deemed racially “inferior” by the state was also legal (and tax payer funded) in Canada.

Japanese Canadians were rounded up based on their genetics and put in concentrations camps, their properties and belongings sold by the state for profit, this was all "legal".

Today, here in Canada it is legal to clearcut the last few ancient rainforests watersheds that exist on the west coast right through the bottom of river valleys and salmon habitat (they will take thousands of years to regenerate).

Spraying entire forest habitats from the air with glyphosate (poisoning countless animals, decimating soil ecology and poisoning people that forage on their traditional territory) to impose tree plantation monocultures onto the landscape is legal.

Yet it is illegal for indigenous elders like Bill Jones to protect his own traditional territory against corporate clearcutting in places like the Walbran Valley on Vancouver Island.

Human trafficking was once legal in the USA ( and funded by big bank loans) for those with a certain color of skin, helping those humans if they try to escape their kidnappers was illegal.

In the US today citizens and non-citizens are harassed, beaten, murdered and kidnapped because of their skin color, accent or if they try to help those being assaulted and many are put into ICE gulag prison camps. The federal government tells you this is all “legal” and helping anyone when agents of the state are engaging in that behavior is “illegal”.

Sometimes (in fact more often than most statists would care to admit) things that are "legal" are completely morally reprehensible, degenerative and overtly nefarious... and sometimes things that are declared as "illegal" by the state, are actions that are, in fact, noble, compassionate, ecologically sound and universally beneficial to all beings.

Sometimes a morally honorable path requires us to break the laws of statist regimes. In these times when the statist governments are dominated by corporations and central banking cartels more than ever before, choosing to do what is right will often mean doing what is also declared as illegal by the state.
